Admissions Information
There
are over 75,000 graduates of Farmingdale State. Farmingdale is Long
Island's first public college, and SUNY's newest four year college.
Deciding to
apply to college, which college, and what to study, are big decisions
to make. We would like to help you with these choices, and would
suggest a visit to the campuses of the colleges you are considering,
meeting with an admissions counselor, touring the campus, talking
to some present students and faculty, and trying to picture yourself

WHEN
TO APPLY

know that you are accepted. The earlier that you are accepted, the
earlier that you can register and get your choice of classes, the
earlier that you can apply for financial aid to get all that you

if you need it.

of high school courses taken and grades achieved, class rank, recommendations,
standardized test scores, and other relevant information. If you
have previously attended another college, your record there will
be considered as well. Admission decisions are made without regard
to race, age, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, religion,
disability, handicap, or veteran status.
